The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max may have the “the best smartphone cameras ever”, “Best Ever Smartphone” display and the A12 chip that’s 2 to 3 times faster than Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 845 chip, but like most iPhone models, it also comes with its own set of problems. iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max Not Charging
One of the major issues being reported by iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max users has been that their new iPhones are not charging automatically when they’re plugged in to a power source. It seems to be an iOS 12 issue, as older iPhone and iPad users are also complaining about the issue. Apple is aware of the issue, and has already fixed it in iOS 12.0.1.
So if you’re facing the issue, install iOS 12.0.1 to fix the issue.
5. Beauty Filter Effect
Another annoying issue is the beauty filter effect being applied to selfies by the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, as you can see in the comparison photos below.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround to fix this issue as well. Apple has acknowledged the issue, and is currently working to fix the issue. However, Apple hasn’t provided any update on when it is released. It also doesn’t seem to be fixed in iOS 12.1 beta.
LTE Connectivity problems
In addition to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems, one of the issues that seem to be plaguing some iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max users is LTE connectivity issues. You can try to hard reset your iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max to see if it resolves the LTE connectivity issue.
